the last chance to see Didier Cuche, the Swiss- romand downhill champion race down the 870 meters of vertical descent with a lenght of 3.4 kms in less than 2 mins, reaching maximum speeds of 140 km/h +++ Didier Cuche, aged 37, has announced to retire after this season (after 6 season titles since 2007 and on it's way to the 8th title this year)... and the Kandahar will not be part of the FIS circuit for the next 2 years +++ Interested? +++ Finish - area tickets (in the shade) are on sale for 25€; sunnier observation places can be reached by walking up the mountain (very) early on the (Satur-) day to be there at noon when the first racers start their descent on the legendary down hill run +++ On Sunday 5th, the combinaton downhill is scheduled to start at 11h +++
